The Chocolate Church Arts Center in Bath, Maine announces Paint Bath and More. Come and discover Bath, Maine captured on one special day. More than 2 dozen invited artists will fan out across Bath to paint or draw scenes of our coastal Maine community on one day – Saturday August 11, 2007.

Scenes and locations from which artists may choose include gardens, cityscapes, river scenes, marshes, ocean and much more. This is a rain-or-shine event. Artists are permitted to take photos of their selected location prior to the event date however the works must be created on the day of the event. Designated and protected places to paint from the photo will be provided in the case of rain.

Throughout the day wander the streets of Bath. Follow the locator map and discover the creative process. Watch the artists work and learn about their inspirations. In the late afternoon - join the artists for a silent auction followed a live auction hosted by Diane Moyer. The auction will include a light reception. All proceeds go to benefit the Chocolate Church Arts Center.
